Text Box: Peter is named after Peter Paladini, the father of a good friend of ours who passed away in March 2003 at the age of eighty one.. Since Peter was a life long lover of dogs especially Collies it seemed fitting to honor his life by naming a rescue collie after him. The music “Ode to Joy” from Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony was selected by his son since it was one of the last pieces of music his family played for him. Check back often to see how Peter progresses with his second chance at life and love from the shelter to his new forever home.

Peter was in sad shape.  He was underweight, heart worm positive and his coat was badly matted.  Worst of all he had mange which led to him being shaved.

Peter finally found is forever home.  He know lives in Florida and is the loving companion of a ten year old boy and his younger sister..
