This is Trooper before he came into the care of Collie Rescue of Mississippi He was dirty, smelt bad, suffered from skin allergies, which caused hair loss on his legs, and his coat was thin and dry. He also was very scared and confused. Trooper was also facing the prospect of being euthanized as no one was interested in him due to his neglected condition. Amazingly enough after all he endured he was heartworm negative.. |

Six months later, Trooper is a new dog. His sprit was restored, his coat is thick and beautiful and he is a very playful and grateful Collie. Trooper was a true diamond in the rough and once cared for his eyes lit up like the sparkle in a diamond.. |

In May 2003, Trooper finally got his forever home. He now lives with three small boys who adore him and give him all the attention and love that he deserves. |
