Text Box: This piece was originally submitted to us a guest book entry. In December of 2001 we adopted the most wonderful collie. Brittany is a nine year old tricolor female that was in the sanctuary program due to her age. I am so thankful the Leggettes agreed to put her up for adoption for us. Brittany has been a wonderful addition to our family. I wholeheartedly recommend adopting an older dog. They are calm, trained and want only to be loved (no chewing or whining). We know we will not have Brittany for an entire lifetime but the time we have with her is choice. Please consider the older dog. They have a lot to offer. - Amy and Ray Mississippi
