Text Box: We wanted to write and let everyone know how much we love our Holly, a sweet 1 1/2 year old sable and white collie we adopted from Collie Rescue of Mississippi. It was truly love at first sight - she is sooo cute!! Holly is also very smart and it didn't take her long to fit into our home and our lives. She learns very quickly and is a very good girl. Holly is so playful - she has lots of toys - but especially loves her squeaky toys. She will fetch them if I throw them but she also loves to prance around with them in her mouth trying to entice me to chase her. When we play the stereo, she likes to stand in front of the speakers and play squeaky toy accompaniment!! She also loves to tease our older collie with toys and gets him to chase her. They also like to be "kissy-face" with each other. Holly also loves to roll around on her back making cute collie noises and kicking her legs around. One time she was on her back and swung her body from side to side grabbing the end of her tail on each swing. She makes me laugh out loud at her antics!! Holly is a very curious collie, and likes nothing better than to follow me around to see what I am doing and stick her long nose into it (of course). She is especially fascinated with the shower and when I am taking one she likes to play peek-a-boo with her nose pulling back the shower curtain!! Holly is also a very loving dog. She likes nothing better than to cuddle up on the couch next to me while I read or watch TV. Of course, she gets lots of loving, petting, and kissing at all times. If you ask her for a kiss you get lots of nice doggy licks! She has the most beautiful soulful golden brown eyes that can be loving or impish depending on her mood. She is so beautiful when she is running at top speed across the grass and loves to play hide-and-seek. Holly has brought so much laughter and fun and love to our lives. She is our sweet girl and we are so lucky to have her. We are so glad that Barbara and Collie Rescue of Mississippi made it possible for us to adopt her into her "forever" home.
