Text Box: Katie's Story I was sent away from home, Bewildered, frightened and alone. My heart was overwhelmed and sore, Seemed there was nothing left to live for. I didn't know what I did wrong, So I asked the Lord to make me strong I have a lot of love to give, But now I need a reason to live. Waiting in the shelter day by day, I hoped someone to love would come my way. Someone who'd make my life worthwhile, Suddenly I looked up and saw their smiles. I never will forget, Barbara and Jim Leggette. They gave me lots of love and care, And lifted me out from despair. I felt like I was full of grace, When they brought me to their happy place. Collie Rescue of Mississippi is its name, Now my life will never be the same. All the collies living there, Get the very best of care. These dogs all thank the Lord above, That Barbara's heart is full of love. And now I have a brand new home, Out here in Boston Mass. My new family really loves me, They think I'm quite a lass.
