Text Box: Hello, Barbara.

I keep meaning to e-mail you and let you know how Nick is doing. My apologies for taking so long to get to it! Nick is settling in very well and we've started taking obedience classes together. He followed the "sit" command this week and I got so excited, he didn't really know what was going on! He loves to chase balls & fetch toys and he now drops it right in front of me and meets my eye in order to get me to throw it again.

My older collie, Georgia, and he play together and when he gets out a toy and brings it to me, you can see her watch us until finally, she gets in on it. He's been a wonderful addition for her.

Nick seems to be relaxing and enjoying his new home. I was cooking last weekend and setting the dining room table so I was walking from room to room. Normally, he feels the need to follow me into every room and watch. This time, he just stayed in the kitchen and waited for me to come back. I
thought that was a good sign that he knew I would be back in there for him.

He really is very sweet and caring and I just adore him. He is stealing everyone's hearts here. I'm sure he would love a visit from you so please feel free to come see him if you get the chance.

Hope all is well there. I'm sure you are still mourning Lassie (as I am Brandy) and I think of you often and hope you're finding peace.

Sincerely - Kristen (& Georgia & Nick!)
