Text Box: Hi everyone! It’s me Will with an update! I was scheduled to have a very extensive surgery last Thursday, but Mom received a phone call Wednesday evening and was informed that I developed another terrible infection, so my surgery was cancelled. I am due to go back to ICU on Monday or Tuesday and be put on a drip with a really heavy duty antibiotic to get rid of this horrible infection. The reason I have to wait is because Mississippi State did not have it available and needs to go through a local hospital to attain it. Mom was told it will cost at least a couple hundred dollars if not several (whewwwww) that must be some pretty hefty stuff. Mom said “just get it because Will has come too far to die from a lousy infection”. I’ll be in ICU for five days until this stuff has taken effect. I will probably be up here for at least two to three more weeks as I will be in ICU all next week, maybe even into early part of next week depending on when they can get this stuff and get me started on it. After that, when I’m rid of this infection, they will proceed with that surgery I was suppose to have last Thursday. Anyway, I sure do miss Mom and I know she misses me! Mom always tells me about all the emails she is getting on me with well wishes and prayers and I just want to thank you ALL for that. It lifts up my spirits knowing so many of you out there are continuously thinking of me and praying for me! Until Mom gets more news about what is going on, that’s all for now! By the way, I want to apologize for the updates being so few and far in between, but when things remain the same and nothing is done, Mom can’t really put up an exciting update on me.
